Welcome to our Love, Inc. Ministry

Love Inc. is an organization which provides food, clothing, and sometimes shelter for families who are in unfortunate circumstances.  Love Inc. is mainly funded by the Burlington area churches and private donations.  Private donations can be in the form of money or items for Love, Inc's resale shop, located on Pine Street.

St. John the Divine supports Love Inc. by providing and serving dinner on the first Thursday of the month.  At the annual auction, one item is designated as the proceeds going to Love Inc.  We also have a food basket near the Altar-Table and we encourage you to bring non-perishable foods to church for Love, Inc.  We will deliever the basket each time it gets full.

To help with the monthly dinner, sign up sheets are in Healy Hall.

Love, Inc. is a network of churches and individuals working together to identify and assess the needs of families and individuals and direct them to the appropriate resources. Their goal is to help families and individuals help themselves.  St. John the Divine Episcopal Church supports Love, Inc. in a variety of ways from financial to volunteering to serve a meal once a month.  This link will take you to their website.
