"To equip the saints for ministry for the work of ministry, for building up the Body of Christ."  Ephesians 4:12

In an Episcopal Parish, the lay men and women who make up the the leaderhip team, the governing officers of the church are known, collectively, as the Vestry. Together with the Rector and the Wardens (also lay men and women), they make up the corporate entity of the Parish: "The Rector, Wardens, and Vestrymen of St. John the Divine."

Vestry members share the responsibilities in the leadership of the Parish as they try to follow Christ's will in our corporate life of the Parish.

Election of vestry members occurs at our Spring Annual Meeting.  If you sense God might be calling you to serve as a parish leader, please speak with a vestry member or Priest Joanne.
