During the months of November and December, the children learned about the gift of Jesus’ birth.  We made glass ornaments, gingerbread ornaments, learned a new song and worked really hard to learn their parts and the songs for the Advent Play.  Everyone did a wonderful job and it was very special to all who were there.  It was really nice to see so many grandparents and other relatives at our church that morning.   Thank you to all of the teachers who put so much time and dedication into the program.  

We are taking a Christmas break and will resume Sunday School classes on January 4, 2009.  Our first unit will be learning about Jesus as a young boy.
